SureCart 4.9.4 Released
What’s new in SureCart 4.9.4
Released: October 9th, 2026
Active installations: 80,000
Tested up to WordPress 7.1.3
Requires PHP 7.4
Changelog
- Improvement: The MCP settings tab now installs the MCP Adapter plugin from WordPress.org, so it appears under Plugins and receives normal updates.
- Fix: The “Charge tax on this product” toggle showed as off and disabled when opening a product by navigating within the admin instead of loading the page directly.
- Fix: Refreshing the checkout page after clicking Buy Now no longer loses the checkout. It is now kept in the URL, so a refresh shows the same items instead of an empty checkout or the saved cart.
- Security: Hardened how stored data is restored in local database models to prevent PHP object injection.
- Security: Escaped the status filter links on the Invoices admin list to prevent reflected cross-site scripting.
Previous releases
4.9.3 — October 5th, 2026
- Fix: In the customer dashboard, switching plans within an upgrade group did not show the group’s draft (members-only) products to customers who own a product in that group.
4.9.2 — October 2nd, 2026
- Improvement: Product structured data now includes the offer URL, item condition, SKU, and sale (strikethrough) pricing, so more product pages qualify for Google rich results.
- Fix: Product structured data no longer lists subscription, pay-what-you-want, or free prices as offers. It now uses the price the product page preselects.
- Fix: Currency codes in product structured data are now uppercase, as Google expects.
- Fix: The SureCart Dashboard and Learn pages appeared blank when the classic view was enabled.
- Fix: Draft products in the checkout form editor were wrongly shown as “This product has been archived.”
