About WordPress FAQ
What is WordPress FAQ?
WordPress FAQ is a community-sourced reference site that turns real Reddit discussions into concise, searchable answers about WordPress plugins, themes, and configurations.
Every page on this site represents a real question that WordPress users ask — and the answer reflects what the community actually reports, not what plugin vendors claim.
How content is generated
- Crawling — We monitor WordPress-related subreddits (r/Wordpress, r/WPDev, etc.) for recurring questions about plugin and theme compatibility.
- Summarisation — An AI model (Gemini) reads the top-voted threads and extracts the consensus verdict, known issues, and FAQ pairs. No content is fabricated; it is always grounded in the source posts.
- Publishing — Pages are written in Markdown with structured frontmatter containing verdict, confidence level, and source count, then built with Hugo into static HTML.
Confidence levels
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| high | 10+ concordant community reports; strong consensus |
| medium | 5–9 reports; general agreement with some edge cases |
| low | Fewer than 5 reports; proceed with caution |
Sources
All content is sourced from publicly available Reddit community discussions. We link back to source threads where available.
The site is rebuilt regularly as new community reports come in. The “last updated” date on each page reflects the most recent data crawl for that topic.
